A ferry caught hearth off the coast of southern Thailand on Thursday morning, killing greater than 100 folks.
An in a single day ferry from Surat Thani to the favored vacationer island of Koh Tao was about to achieve its vacation spot when a fireplace broke out.
In accordance with information company AP, some passengers needed to soar into the ocean to flee the fireplace. Officers confirmed there have been no accidents.
Maitri Promjampa, one of many passengers, informed the AP that she first heard a crackling sound, then smelled smoke. Lower than 5 minutes later they noticed flames, inflicting folks on board to begin screaming and elevating the alarm.
