Knesset passes a legislation that would shut down Al Jazeera in Israel

Israeli lawmakers have overwhelmingly authorized a legislation that provides senior ministers the facility to briefly shut down international information networks they deem a safety threat. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu mentioned he would take 'speedy motion' in accordance with the legislation to cease Al Jazeera's exercise.
