Per Christian Post:

Detroit Pistons guard Jaden Ivey recently declared that “Jesus is coming back” and credited his strong athletic performance to divine intervention.

In a postgame press conference after his team's win against the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday, Ivey, 22, talked about his 34-point performance. The former Purdue University player said he is “going to work every day, trusting my shot, trusting my work.”

Emphasizing that “it's paying off,” Ivy declared, “I give all the glory to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for giving me these gifts.”

“I just want to say that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. And…to anyone in the world who hears this message, the kingdom of heaven is at hand,” he said. “Jesus is coming back, and we all have to repent of our sins and… we have to put our faith in Jesus.”

This isn't the first time Ivey has shared her faith on a national stage.

As a member of the Purdue men's college basketball team, Ivey shared that he is grateful to God for his team's participation in the NCAA March Madness Tournament.

Ivey's expression of faith in Jesus Christ is refreshing, considering that the NBA has been plagued by liberal campaigns and promoting CCP propaganda.
