On Monday's episode of the ABC talk show “The View,” Whoopi Goldberg outrageously claimed that abortion is not included in the Ten Commandments, arguing that “Thou shalt not murder” does not apply to it.
Trump's abortion stance
Goldberg and her co-hosts were discussing former President Donald Trump's abortion stances that he posted on social media on Monday. In his post, Trump expressed his support for in vitro fertilization (IVF) and argued that states should make their own abortion laws as long as there are exceptions for rape, incest, and the mother's life.
According to CNN, Trump said, “My view now is that we have abortion where everyone wanted it from a legal standpoint, the states will determine it by vote or by law or maybe both.” “And whatever decision they take should be the law of the land. In this case, state law.
“Many states will vary,” he added. “Many people will have different weeks, or some will have more conservatives than others, and that's just who they will be. “After all, it all depends on the will of the people.”
Goldberg counterattacks
This did not sit well with Goldberg, who responded by immediately talking about abortion on “The View.”
“No one is obliged to have an abortion. “You'll never have to do that, and I hope no one ever has to do that,” Goldberg said. “I want to make sure that if you decide this is what you want to do, I'll follow you because I don't know your life, and if you say this is what you want, that's what I'm all about.” going to do.”
“It's you, your doctor and God. That's what you have to negotiate with, and it's not mentioned in the Big Ten, I'm just going to say,” she said, referring to the Ten Commandments.
When his co-host Sunny Hostin pointed out that evangelical Christians would apply this to “Thou Shalt Not Kill”, Goldberg responded, “I think 'Thou Shalt Not' cannot be used as a block Because we allow wars all the time.”
Hostin then pointed to the existence of the death penalty and said, “We allow guns.”
Goldberg concluded, “So there's some conversation to be had, so either you're not going to kill for everyone and everything, or we're going to have to talk about all the things that you and I have to do.”
Radically liberal co-host Joy Behar also got in on the action, awkwardly comparing it to immigrants flooding cities across America.
“They are concerned about immigrants coming into these cities. Wait until these women start moving to cities that allow abortion. It's going to be filled with women, look,” Behar said, and her co-host Sara Haines clarified, “You mean when they move.”
“If they can even get out of their state because these women don't have the money to leave Texas or even come to New York,” Behar said.

Goldberg's earlier abortion argument
This isn't the primary time Goldberg has made such an outcry about abortion rights. In 2022, Goldberg outrageously argued that God is in favor of abortion as a result of he has given people “freedom of selection”.
“As , God doesn't make errors,” she insisted. “God has made us sensible sufficient to know when it won’t assist us. “That’s the fantastic thing about giving us freedom of selection.”

As you may see, Goldberg's views on abortion are utterly unbalanced, and it's disgusting that ABC is giving him a platform to spew them every day. In the long run, what Goldberg is carrying out with this stuff reveals simply how out of contact with actuality he actually is.
