On Monday's episode of the ABC talk show “The View,” Whoopi Goldberg outrageously claimed that abortion is not included in the Ten Commandments, arguing that “Thou shalt not murder” does not apply to it.
Trump's abortion stance
Goldberg and her co-hosts were discussing former President Donald Trump's abortion stances that he posted on social media on Monday. In his post, Trump expressed his support for in vitro fertilization (IVF) and argued that states should make their own abortion laws as long as there are exceptions for rape, incest, and the mother's life.
According to CNN, Trump said, “My view now is that we have abortion where everyone wanted it from a legal standpoint, the states will determine it by vote or by law or maybe both.” “And whatever decision they take should be the law of the land. In this case, state law.

Goldberg counterattacks
This did not sit well with Goldberg, who responded by immediately talking about abortion on “The View.”

“They are concerned about immigrants coming into these cities. Wait until these women start moving to cities that allow abortion. It's going to be filled with women, look,” Behar said, and her co-host Sara Haines clarified, “You mean when they move.”
“If they can even get out of their state because these women don't have the money to leave Texas or even come to New York,” Behar said.

Goldberg's earlier abortion argument
This isn't the primary time Goldberg has made such an outcry about abortion rights. In 2022, Goldberg outrageously argued that God is in favor of abortion as a result of he has given people “freedom of selection”.
