The White House said Joe Biden is in Baltimore, Maryland, to tour the recently demolished Francis Scott Key Bridge and “deliver remarks reaffirming his commitment to the people of Baltimore.” The White House said.
Gateway Pundit reported the bridge's collapse after being hit by a cargo ship and dislodged by a support pillar.
The Key Bridge is a major commuter route carrying the Baltimore Beltway I-695 over the Patapsco River at the southern end of Baltimore Harbor.

Two weeks later, it's still unclear how it happened, but Old Joe is coming to the rescue.

Aboard Marine One, circling piles of construction and rescue equipment trying to clear the remains of distorted metal and debris from last week's collapse, Biden got his first close-up view of the devastation. On the ground, they were prepared to receive updates from local authorities as well as the U.S. Coast Guard and the Army Corps of Engineers.
Eight employees – immigrants Crews from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador were filling the bridge when it collapsed at midnight on March 26 after being struck by a huge cargo ship. Two people were rescued, but only the bodies of two of the six who died have been recovered. The President was also scheduled to meet the families of the victims.
