Surreal: NYT article praises 'Deep State', criticizes Trump for attempting to take it down

[

Oh, The New York Times. You never cease to amaze us.

In its latest hit article regarding former President Donald Trump's comments about the Deep State, The New York Times wants us to think that the Deep State is “kind of awesome.”

The NYT took it upon themselves to go around and find out who the people are about whom Trump has repeatedly commented should he be re-elected this November.

The Times first met Scott Bellamy at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. In addition to being the Planetary Mission Program Office mission manager, we learn that Bellamy likes Star Trek, drives a Nissan, and helps divert an asteroid from its path with a spaceship.

Next, the Times went to Washington, D.C., to meet with Radhika Fox, assistant administrator for water in the Environmental Protection Agency's water office. When she's not doing Pilates or making salads, she's making sure we have clean, lead-free drinking water. She is also a big fan of Taylor Swift.

On one last trip to Chicago, the Times was introduced to Nancy Alcantara, acting director for enforcement of the Wage and Hour Division of the Labor Department's Midwest Regional Office.

Did you know that she runs marathons and loves lucky charms? She also ensures that child labor is not used in slaughterhouses. According to the NYT Alcantara “raided several slaughterhouses and found more than 100 children working illegally”.

Alcantara said that if the Labor Department had not intervened, limbs would have been amputated and children would have died.

Clearly, the NYT has shown its audience some really likeable and trustworthy people who do meaningful things with our tax dollars.

You like space travel, right? You don't want to get destroyed by an asteroid, do you? Certainly you don't want lead in the water or children working in slaughterhouses. A vote for Trump is clearly a vote for lead poisoning, child labor, and asteroids hitting the Earth.

The real question is, are these the same people Trump is talking about when he refers to the deep state? Would he really go after hard-working Americans who dedicate their lives to a worthwhile cause?

This is seriously doubtful. When President Trump talks about the deep state, he is referring to an unelected bureaucracy that wields immense power over our lives, the choices we make, and how the government operates.

Why didn't the Times interview anyone from the FBI? How about interviews with people from the CIA, ATF, Department of Justice, Department of Homeland Security or IRS?

I, in a way, would love to know more about those people.

I'm sure they're a whole bunch that use my tax dollars responsibly, just like Bellamy, Fox, and Alcantara.

All kidding aside, these are probably the same people Trump is really talking about. Don't believe me, just listen to Trump. I don't remember hearing him say he would poison the water or allow asteroids to destroy the planet.

The New York Occasions may give Trump every part he desires. Anybody with sufficient mind cells to rub two collectively is aware of the reality.
