The American media have always been decidedly left-leaning but the Trump years have really unmasked them. Most people in the media don't even try to pretend to be objective anymore. They openly act like Democrat activists.
When reporting on Trump, which they all love to do, their mistakes are numerous and always only go in one direction.
Sheryl Attkisson, one of the few good journalists out there, recently did a report on this problem.

When President Biden spent last Christmas with his family over the holidays, he continued the longest streak of not visiting troops during the holidays by an American president in two decades. But there was no such criticism in the press as was his predecessor President Trump. With Trump, the media was eager to grab negative headlines, even if false.
In 2018, NBC incorrectly reported that Trump stayed home for Christmas, the first US president to visit the troops since 2002. The news went global. But this was not true. The media had jumped the gun. Trump and First Lady Melania left the White House on Christmas Day to meet with US troops in Iraq.
On Thanksgiving, Newsweek made a similar mistake, falsely reporting that Trump was spending the holiday “golfing” at Mar-a-Lago, Florida. But the reporter had fabricated the golf story. Trump flew to Afghanistan to be with troops again on Thanksgiving, making Trump the only president in American history to visit troops in a war zone close to Thanksgiving and Christmas – although the press never reported this.

Our media can’t be fastened. There are an abundance of liberal activists right here who suppose their job is to take away Trump. None of that is going to vary till extra of those individuals are changed by actual journalists.
