A crazy scene unfolded at the end of a hotly contested college basketball game between Texas A&M Commerce and Incarnate Word on Monday night, which also involved an innocent female spectator.
As ESPN reported, several players from both teams began punching each other during the handshake line after the conclusion of the game. In overtime, Texas A&M Commerce defeated Incarnate Word, a private Catholic university in San Antonio, 76–72.
It is unclear at this point what caused the fight, which lasted about two minutes as the coaching staffs of both teams desperately tried to gain control of their players.
Footage of the incident shows some Incarnate Word players slowly walking towards the locker room and then running back to the bench area where the fight begins. Then both the teams start brawling near the bench area and punches start flying.
The melee then spreads to the center of the court.
The male announcer said, “This is not what you want to see after having a great game.” “We have everything going on right now.”

Then a second melee begins away from the central battle. Gamers from each groups transfer ahead to assist their teammates.
Through the second half of the brawl, the feminine announcer observed that the melee was spreading into the stands and {that a} “younger lady” within the crowd was injured throughout the chaos.
The coaches ultimately regained management and led their groups to their respective locker rooms.
Incarnate Phrase and A&M-Commerce issued a joint assertion late Monday apologizing “for the conduct displayed by our respective males's basketball applications.”
