A bridge close to the Kerr Lock and Dam in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, was closed Saturday after it was struck by a barge.
“Oklahoma Freeway Patrol responded to Sequoyah County after a barge struck a bridge close to the Kerr Lock and Dam,” 4029tv.com studies.
“US-59 south of Sallisaw at Kerr Reservoir is totally closed right now resulting from a barge that hit the bridge. Troopers are diverting visitors away from the world. The bridge will stay closed till it may be inspected, the Oklahoma Freeway Patrol mentioned Saturday.
