A member of the Texas Nationwide Guard was arrested after being caught on video smuggling an unlawful immigrant throughout the southern border in his government-issued car.

Within the video, Specialist Savion Johnson, stationed in Eagle Go, Texas, was seen main Texas Division of Public Security officers on a high-speed chase after authorities have been alerted to Johnson's suspicious actions close to a Border Patrol checkpoint.

Johnson has since been charged with trafficking in an unlawful particular person, evading arrest and illegal carrying of a weapon.

A spokesman for Governor Greg Abbott mentioned that if the allegations in opposition to Johnson are true, he’s a “traitor and a prison.”
