Former first lady Melania Trump is finally set to return to her husband's campaign trail after taking four months off to mourn her beloved mother Amaliza Neves, who died in January at the age of 78.

Politico reported that Melania is scheduled to hold her first major political event of the year on April 20, when she will host a fundraiser for Log Cabin Republicans at her Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida. The event will be the launch of the organization's “Road to Victory” program, which plans to target voters in swing states.
Melania has for years been loyal to the Log Cabin Republicans, which describes itself as “the nation's largest Republican organization dedicated to representing LGBT conservatives and allies.” Melania was the special guest at a dinner hosted by the organization at Mar-a-Lago in 2021, and was also given a special award.
