Singer Kid Rock last week called on Israel to kill “40,000 civilians at once” if Hamas did not immediately return the hostages.
Kid Rock's voice is off
Kid Rock made the controversial comments while appearing on Joe Rogan's eponymous podcast last Thursday.
According to the Daily Mail, Kid Rock began, “The only wars we won were where we were the cruelest motherf***ers on the planet.” “Joe, I don't disagree with what Israel is doing.”
“It's like, they should just go in there and say, 'You know what? We want our hostages back. If we don't get them back, the clock starts now,'” he said of those 134 hostages. Said, referring to which are still under the control of Hamas.
That's when Kid Rock really started giving his profanity-laden speech.
“And in twenty-four hours, we're going to start bombing motherfuckers and killing fucking civilians, thirty-forty, forty-thousand f**king time. So you citizens better pack your bags and get over these f***ing motherfuckers. And you go against Hamas. You go against them. We're not playing bullshit games with you,'' he said.

Rogan pushes back
Rogan pushed Kid Rock back several times during the segment.
Rogan shot back, “You shouldn't pick civilian targets.” “This is actually a war crime.”
“You can't fight a war like this!” Kid Rock shouted, to which Rogan replied, “But you shouldn't pick civilian targets.”
Kid Rock stood by his argument by saying that Hamas often “hides behind civilian targets.” While Rogan agreed, he also pointed out that “If you're a person born in Palestine, you're rubbish. You're under their (Hamas') control. It's not your fault.”
Kid Rock agreed, admitting that they were born “f**ked…”.
“They are not our enemies,” Rogan concluded, arguing against civilian targets.

Social media users' reaction
According to Newsweek, Kid Rock's comments drew mixed reactions on social media, with some calling them “disgusting”.
“This is absolutely disgusting,” wrote A social media user. “Where is the push back? All this scoundrel has to do is spew this garbage about the justification for killing children. Then they shout about 'child safety' here but it is all a lie. This is just a political football for them. He is advocating for dead children?”
“This man is literally advocating the murder of 40,000 civilians so Israel can get back the 134 hostages. Fuck think about it. In their eyes, 134 hostages are equivalent to more than 100,000 people. Arrest that guy,” another added, while a third wrote, “I stand with Israel, but this is just pathetic.”
However, others agreed with Kid Rock.
“Kid Rock got it. Release the hostages,” one user said, while another added, “Kid Rock should be proud.”
Conservative activist and author Brigitte Gabriel commented, “Kid Rock is a once-in-a-generation talent, I'm glad he's on our side,” who also said a few hours earlier, “If you stand with Palestine , then you stand with terrorism and barbarity. If you stand with Israel, you stand with peace and civilization.”
netanyahu speaks
Over the weekend, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed the war with Hamas could end within “weeks”.
According to The New York Post, Netanyahu said, “We have already destroyed 18 of Hamas's 24 terrorist battalions, so we have four of them (which) are concentrated in Rafah.” “We cannot abandon Hamas's last stronghold without taking care of it. Obviously, we have to do it.”
“It is necessary to do this. Because complete victory is our goal, and complete victory is within our reach,” the Prime Minister said. “Once we start the operation it will not take many months or weeks.”
