Jeff VanderMeer is writing a fourth Southern Attain novel

Freedom It’s the most supernatural, heart-wrenching, and, sure, humorous novel I’ve ever written. I hadn't deliberate on writing a brand new novel within the Southern Attain sequence – which is now a quartet! I used to be blissful to complete it a decade in the past, though there have been at all times some ideas about Space X that wouldn't go away me alone. After which through the years I had a sequence of revelations that opened it up for me once more, and pulled me again in with such pressure that I couldn't resist.

The expertise was so highly effective that I wrote continuous, all day, each day, till every week later I regarded round in amazement and realized it was over. This was encouraging. One thing in regards to the characters and conditions made it straightforward, even irresistible, for me to do. I'm excited for readers to come back again to Space X with me – I feel they'll be actually stunned and typically even shocked by what they discover.
