A 21-year-old fast-food employee was shot by an unruly customer during a fight over guacamole at a Michigan Chipotle.
Fox 2 Detroit reported that the shocking incident happened around 6:50 p.m. at the Chipotle on Evergreen Road near Civic Center Drive in Southfield.
Video footage shows the suspect pointing his gun at the employee, who responds by grabbing the thug by the shirt in an attempt to prevent him from leaving the restaurant. As the short video ends, the sound of gunfire can be heard.

After shooting the employee, the 32-year-old man fled the scene in his car.

One of many witnesses to the taking pictures, Thomas Huber, gave a timeline of occasions to Fox 2 Detroit, describing how the incident unfolded:
“I used to be simply consuming a bowl, and I heard screaming. After which I noticed, they have been arguing. One of many employees went to the again, I don't know why, after which when he was within the again, the shopper went across the counter, tried to grab his meals and put it in a bag,” Huber mentioned.
“Then the worker got here again, and so they began preventing, after which we heard a shot and ran exterior as rapidly as we might,” he added.
After the taking pictures, the worker was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg. Southfield Police say the person is at the moment in steady situation.
Police recognized the suspect as a 31-year-old man from Detroit. He was taken into custody quickly after fleeing the scene.
It’s unclear at the moment what expenses the suspect will face.
