Joe Biden hosted Prime Minister of Japan Kishida Fumio and Mrs. Kishida Yuko for a state dinner within the East Room on Wednesday night.
This follows a disastrous reception for the Japanese Prime Minister on the White Home garden. Biden, 81, was to be escorted across the South Garden.
Biden remained in a state of confusion the whole time.
By Wednesday night, Biden was barely in a position to perform. He needed to learn the toast straight from his notes and even then he struggled.
“Effectively, we’re the identical – Japan and the USA. We could also be divided by distance…” Biden mentioned.
“We each keep in mind the alternatives we made to create a friendship that was beforehand solely a harmful battle!” Biden mentioned.
