On Saturday, Representative Michael Waltz (R-FL) criticized Joe Biden's foreign policy after Iran launched a drone toward Israel.

Representative Waltz spoke with Fox News host Jon Scott and shared, “There is no other way to describe the Obama-Biden Middle East policy other than a dangerous disaster. I mean, it's a complete disaster. A few years ago, under President Trump, ISIS was destroyed, Iran was broken and they were on the backfoot, and we had the Abraham Accords, and look where we are now.

Waltz added, “I think the fundamental mistake, the fundamental premise, has been the appeasement strategy of the Biden administration, which is so focused on what they call de-escalation, that it has signaled to the region and certainly to Iran Given that they did. There is scope for pressure, that they can achieve their goals because the Biden administration is constantly trying to appease and push back and it has been strengthened.”

“Just last year, we refused to pressure the United Nations to renew sanctions over Iran’s drone and missile program. Now, they are flying to Israel virtually.

“We have not imposed an oil embargo, 90% of their oil is being sold to China. “We have publicly withdrawn from our greatest ally, Israel.”

“And by the way, we have practically begged Iran to come back to the Iran deal over the last few years, using Russia as a mediator, and the chief negotiator is now under investigation by the FBI for some kind of treasonous activity toward Iran. Is under investigation by… The list is so long that Iran clearly thinks it can get away with it and sees this as an opportunity.

Waltz then shared what most Americans are thinking… “November can't come soon enough,” he added, “We must have a commander-in-chief that our enemies respect and fear.”

“And we don't have that right now.”
