UN Particular Envoy Francesca Albanese explains how Israel justifies its killing and mass destruction in Gaza.
In response to the UN official appointed to report on Palestinian human rights, worldwide legislation is obvious: Israel should withdraw from the territories it occupied in 1967.
As an alternative, Israel's objective is to make “the impossibility of continuous civilian life in Gaza,” as Francesca Albanese, the U.N. particular envoy on the occupied Palestinian territories, informed host Steve Clemons.
Albanese says Israel doesn’t deny the killings and mass destruction, however justifies its conduct as “compliance with worldwide humanitarian legislation”.
