Chicago has announced the existence of an additional 10,000 mail-in ballots that were “accidentally” not accounted for until now.
Currently, Eileen O'Neil Burke leads radical neo-Marxist candidate Clayton Harris III by only 4,800 votes.
Look, Eileen's lead will disappear by morning.

ABC News Channel 7 reported this surprising development in the Democrat primary race for the Cook County State's Attorney race.
The board said it is working to add more than 10,000 votes to its total count, after its public information director said she accidentally left out some vote-by-mail ballots.
Max Beaver, public information officer for the Chicago Board of Elections, issued a statement saying that vote-by-mail ballots cast on Monday, March 18 were left out of the count.
“I traded speed for accuracy in reporting the numbers as quickly as possible this week. I am truly sorry for this mistake on my part and the confusion it caused Chicago voters. I will share updated numbers only when they are accurate and verified,” Beaver said.
Additional counting will continue Sunday, with poll observers from both campaigns present, Bever said.
Bever added, “I made an error in reporting the number of vote by mail ballots received back on the Monday, March 18, before Election Day, which should have been included in the 'Received by Election Day' numbers.
Earlier, I reported that by the end of Monday, March 18, 66,399 vote-by-mail ballots had been received back and scanned for signature verification. I initially reported that on Election Day, 3/19/24, 7,009 VBM ballots were received back via USPS. This number was incorrect – I only reported vote-by-mail ballots received back on Election Day.
Approximately 9,143 vote-by-mail additional ballots received Monday should have been included in this 'received by Election Day' number that will be processed and counted after March 19, Election Day.
These vote-by-mail ballots received from Monday, March 18 to Tuesday, March 19 were secured in a receiving cage at 69 W. Washington until they were run through an Agilis scanning machine for purposes including verifying that It can be ascertained that those voters have not cast their ballots. During early voting or on election day, and preparing signature samples for verification. These ballots were inspected, processed and counted by election judges from Friday, March 22 through Saturday, March 23, and are already reflected in unofficial results on ChicagoElections.gov.
