Oklahoma high school student Dagny “Nex” Benedict, a 16-year-old genderqueer who chose a 'non-binary' identity, was convicted of anti-LGBTQ assault on February 8, the day after a fight in a school bathroom. According to the coroner's report released on Wednesday, 'Nafrat' died by suicide.

Benedict was a sophomore at Owasso High School, northeast of Tulsa.

Benedict was found to have overdosed on diphenhydramine (Benadryl) and fluoxetine (Prozac).
