Earlier this week, CNN's Jake Tapper reported, without any evidence to support his claims, that NFL great Aaron Rodgers has cast doubt on the Sandy Hook school shooting.
Tapper told CNN viewers that Rogers had told an acquaintance at the time – about 11 years earlier – that he doubted the original story and that the shooting never happened.
Aaron Rodgers immediately responded to this fake news attack.
Rodgers tweeted: “As I have said on the record in the past, what happened at Sandy Hook was an absolute tragedy. I do not and have never had the opinion that the events did not occur. Again, I hope we will learn from this and other tragedies to identify the signs that will allow us to prevent unnecessary loss of life. My thoughts and prayers remain with the entire Sandy Hook community as well as the families affected. “

Despite Aaron's comments, Tapper reiterated his stance and said he stood by his story and had spoken to a separate “anonymous” source.
Jake Tapper: “I also spoke to another person, who wished to remain anonymous to avoid harassment, who also had a similar encounter with Aaron Rodgers, who said that Rodgers claimed, quote, Sandy Hook never happened. . All those kids never existed. They're all actors. Aaron Rodgers is responding to our story. He doesn't deny saying what we reported. He said, so who knows, OK? “
So is Tapper using an “anonymous source” to double down on the hit piece against popular quarterback Aaron Rodgers?
There is no public record that Rogers ever said anything remotely related to Jake Tapper's allegations.
Newsmax host Rob Schmidt took Tapper to the woodshed over his latest disgusting attack on a Biden critic.

CNN only really reports on presidential corruption allegations when they have something that looks like an exoneration. This is generally how CNN works.
Until they find something they like, and then suddenly, that network's standards fall through the roof.”
This is exactly what is happening. If it hurts Trump or helps Biden they will give it full coverage, no matter how ridiculous the report or how weak the source.
