The head of Boeing's 737 Max program is out after an mid-air explosion.
“Boeing removed Ed Clark, the chief executive of its 737 MAX passenger jet program, in the wake of multiple safety and quality incidents.” – CNN reported.
Last month, a large piece of Alaska Airlines' Boeing 737 Max flew into the air.
The plane's door flew off amid Boeing's focus on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) hiring practices over passenger safety.
Would you want to fly on an airplane where they prioritized DEI hiring over your safety? This is actually happening. https://t.co/FcTyzZD0uW

The door panel that exploded had no bolts attached to it, according to a new report released by the National Transportation Safety Board earlier this month.
Additionally, the defective door plugs were manufactured by Spirit AeroSystems in Malaysia.
“Whatever the ultimate conclusion, Boeing is accountable for what happened,” Boeing President and CEO Dave Calhoun said in the statement. “This type of incident should not happen on an airplane coming out of our factory. We simply must do better for our customers and their passengers. We are implementing a comprehensive plan to strengthen the quality and trust of our stakeholders. “This will require significant, demonstrated action and transparency at every turn – and that is where we are completely focused.”
More than 2 dozen passengers are suing Boeing and the airline after the mid-air explosion.
Ed Pearson, a former Boeing executive, told NewsNation this week that the Max airplanes are definitely not safe and that he avoids flying on those planes because of safety concerns.
