Liberal comedian Jon Stewart used his weekly episode of “The Daily Show” on Monday night to launch an attack on former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, even calling him an “ad***.”
Stewart criticized Carlson
A week after drawing the ire of liberals by attacking their beloved President Joe Biden, Stewart desperately tried to win them back by taking aim at Carlson for his recent interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Stewart began his monologue by criticizing Carlson's face when he sat down with Putin for a two-hour interview.
“It's not really a straight face, because you try to express a mixture of what I'm going to call shyness, excitement and irregularity,” Stewart said. “For example, as if you were constipated while flipping through a Sears catalog.”
Stewart then played a clip in which Carlson praised the cleanliness of train stations in Russia before taking a dig at homeless Americans while visiting a supermarket.
“I know I've said it before: You're such an ad***,” Stewart responded. “Really, really, just like the ad***.”
Another clip showed Carlson saying he had become “radicalized” against American leaders after seeing the prices available to Russian buyers compared to the US.
“Fanatic!” Stewart repeated. “And that will radicalize you – unless you understand basic economics. Look, $104 for groceries sounds like a great deal until you realize that Russians earn less than $200 per week. But this is the reality. You know all this because you are not as stupid as your face would have us believe.”
Stewart added, “The question is why Tucker is doing this.” “It's because the old civilizational battle was capitalism versus communism… but now they think the battle is woke versus woke. And Putin is the right's ally in that fight. He is their friend. Unfortunately, he is also a cruel and cruel dictator. So they have to make Americans a little more comfortable with it.

Stewart dares to criticize Biden
