A multidisciplinary staff has been awarded a two-year, $2 million grant to assist NASA examine the asteroid's floor. The LASSIE (Leged Autonomous Floor Science in Analog Environments) challenge is created by professionals from NASA, Texas A&M College, Georgia Institute of Know-how, Oregon State College, Temple College, and the College of Pennsylvania.
