Senate protesters disrupt Senate hearing
Reports have linked these protesters who shut down the Senate cafeteria to the same group that repeatedly disrupted a Senate hearing with Pentagon leaders on Tuesday.
These protesters twice disrupted the hearing of the Senate Armed Services Committee on Capitol Hill. They were demanding the US “stop funding Israel” and supporting “genocide” in Gaza.
US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said there is 'no evidence' of Israel committing genocide in Gaza after being repeatedly interrupted by pro-Palestinian protesters during a Senate hearing.
