Dozens of worshipers in Gaza have gathered for Eid al-Fitr prayers close to the ruins of the al-Farouk mosque in Rafah.
The mosque was destroyed throughout an Israeli assault in February.
A couple of million Palestinians are taking refuge within the southern metropolis after being compelled to flee their properties.
Earlier this week, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu mentioned he had set a date for a navy offensive in Rafah regardless of rising warnings that it might result in giant numbers of civilian casualties.
