Black Rifle Coffee Company has found itself in a little trouble with conservatives after social media posts suggested the company or employees were donating to Democrat organizations.
The company has been accused of making political donations to left-wing PACs that do not necessarily support its pro-Second Amendment and right-wing image.
Some conservative figures on social media called for a boycott, even comparing the company to Bud Light.
“Dear America” host Graham Allen entered the debate and defended the company, suggesting that the political donations came from company employees, not the front office types running the show.
“Do your own research and be better than left!” He pleads with the audience.
“This is what a lie looks like,” Allen says, showing screenshots of some of the donations that have drawn the ire of the right, with the donors' names crossed out.
“If you think about Black Rifle, a company that has over 900 employees – I can tell you the truth that 98% of Black Rifle donates to red.”
“But, I can also tell you this – you cannot legally dictate who someone donates to or who they vote for,” he adds. “Duration.”

Is Black Rifle Coffee Worth the Boycott?
Allen makes a compelling argument. So Political Insider took a look at the donations of Evan Haffer, a top executive, founder and CEO of a specialty Black Rifle coffee company.
A large portion of Haffer's donations have gone to Republicans, although the Republicans are of the Dan Crenshaw variety. In 2008, when he was a Defense Department employee, he made a small donation to Barack Obama.
Overall, as Allen says, the company's past political donations have overwhelmingly gone to Republicans.
Community Notes added a fact-check to an image being shared on social media that accuses Black Rifle Coffee of donating to Democrat causes, noting that it is a snippet from a much larger database of employee contributions that Reflects more diverse efforts.
Another issue facing Black Rifle Coffee Company involves their response to the Kyle Rittenhouse case. That case was a slam-dunk situation for people of a conservative nature.
Rittenhouse was attacked by three men, some of whom Serious criminal background, during a Serious riot. Instead the teenager changed the situation by exercising his right of self-defense.
But in the eyes of right-wing critics, Black Rifle Coffee Company distanced itself from him. And some conservatives haven't forgotten it.
The CEO of a gun-themed coffee company said, “We are not in the business of profiting from tragedy.” “We are not in the business of making profits from this event. We have no interest in collecting a single dollar from any of them. “It is morally inappropriate for us to do so, or even give the impression (of making a profit).”
The company will try to clarify its stand later, but some damage has already been done.
