The British Airways Concorde jet was flown throughout the Hudson River and again to the Intrepid Museum in New York after a seven-month restore. This plane, which was retired in 2003, was recognized for its supersonic pace, flying from New York to London in lower than three hours.
Though retired, some jets could be seen in museums.
